About Kahaani
Kahaani is a family-run Indian restaurant on Höllgasse, in the heart of Passau’s old town with a view of the Danube. It was founded by Trishita Kumar; her parents Renu and Ashok Kumar bring more than 40 years of experience running Indian restaurants.
The name means “story”, and that is the idea: the stories behind the dishes. The menu has North Indian classics and dishes from all over India – curries, biryani and specialities from the tandoor.
The team makes its own paneer, chutneys and desserts, plus homemade lassis. Vegetarian dishes have their own section on the menu.
